  • Three to seven years of experience in marketing, communications and/or public relations
  • Experience successfully cultivating and maintaining relationships with diverse communities
  • Demonstrated commitment to civic engagement and collaboration
  • Experience working with the media and community stakeholders
  • Understanding of and passion for environmental and civic priorities
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and multitask
  • Strong organizational, time management and project prioritization skills with the ability to handle a multitude of projects and changing priorities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and proofing skills
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to attend company and client events nights and weekends, and travel when required (anticipated 10%)
  • Working knowledge of philanthropic sector a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with diverse community stakeholders through facilitated discussions a plus

  • Commitment to bringing consistent thought leadership in support of the client’s marketing, communication and community engagement needs
  • Relationship management, project management or process management experience is a must
